rad link wednesday

Happy hump day y'all. Here are some rad links from around the web:

Awesome street style from SXSW!

A refreshing looking cocktail.

Tried this and it really works!

How to make your own stationary.

J. Crew swimwear only makes me want to go to the beach.

The hotel Dusty and I stayed in for our mini-moon (highly recommended).

Dusty and my favorite inexpensive tequila. We did a (very scientific) taste test and it stands up to Patron!

I can't live one day without this, seriously.

LOVE this song.

good ad

I saw this video on Pinterest (follow me!) and though I know it's an ad for eyeglasses I found it so aesthetically appealing that I had to post it. Enjoy.

four eyes

I recently had to start wearing glasses. It started when I couldn't see well at night, and then I wasn't able to see signs very well at all when driving, and then my friends started to fear for their lives when I was behind the wheel so I (finally) gave in. I have to say I love the way that they look on me so much that though I really only need them when driving I wear them all the time. Do you wear glasses? (Photo courtesy of ms. career girl)

spring!

Happy first day of Spring! (Watercolor image courtesy of this Etsy shop, prints available for just $15!)

top notch top knot

I have always been a lover of less-than-perfect looking hair, so I love the messy top knot trend. To perfect the style I turned to (sigh) the internet. I found this article which has helpful instructions as well as this extremely helpful video (don't be put off by the girl's Jersey Shore look and the bad music--it really is great). Do you like more messy or put together hair? (photo courtesy of the drifter and the gypsy)

Parisian Dream

These fabulous photographs of interior designer Josephine Gintzburger's Paris home have been circling the web since they were featured in this month's issue of Livingetc. I love, love, LOVE. (photographs courtesy of Sanctuary)

what's for dinner

I'm making carnitas for dinner tonight, using this recipe from Smitten Kitchen. I'll also be making this jalapeno-cilantro slaw from Homesick Texan. I was a vegetarian for several years, and I have to say that the thing I missed the most was pork. What are you making for dinner tonight? (image from Smitten Kitchen)
